My waters breaking at 12.30am just over 4 weeks before his due date was not my birth plan. I had planned to have my 5th c-section at 37.5 weeks in my home town. Getting loaded up in an ambulance at 4.17am Bendigo bound was not my plan, having a photographer with me was.. This is my last baby, I know I've said this before but carrying 5 babies and five c-sections my body has well and truly done is job.. My past c-sections were far from pleasant so the thought of having a nice, calm planned c-section was getting my through the last few weeks but he had other plans. Plans that included my waters breaking at 12.30am, an ambulance ride and a c-section in a hospital an hour away from all my family and friends.. At the end of the day.I actually the best birth experience I have ever had, special care was on call but as you can see my boy came out screaming so they weren't needed, it was calm, it was peaceful and it was perfect. This was not my plan but it is my story. These images give me all the feels, only a week later it feels like a blur but I will forever have these images to look back on to remind me how tiny he once was and how very loved he was from the second we met and for that I am thankful. Introducing Elroy Jude. 28/09/2018. 6lbs. 47cm long. Pure perfection. This experiences has cemented my need to document the real, raw and beautiful chaos that is birth for other woman be it their last of their first so just give me a couple of weeks and ill be back to tell your birth story too. x Special thanks to my husband for capturing the surgery images and some of the after images and my beautiful friend Claira for her magical ways with her camera as I just came out of recovery.

I have ever had, extraordinary consideration was available to come in to work however as should be obvious my kid came out shouting so they weren't required, it was quiet, it was tranquil and it was great. This was not my arrangement but rather it is my story.
